Visar Sorting's optical sizers are based on artificial intelligence, which allows the subjective evaluation of the quality, shape and appearance of each carrot and therefore replicates human appreciation. Combined with other measurable criteria such as white tip length, root size, green crown. These features allow fine tuning of the selection ability.

An ingenious rotation system aligns carrots of all sizes smoothly and without overlap.

The selection capacity is 1800 mm per second.

Thanks to a system of mirrors and a very powerful light throughout the cylinder that eliminates shadows, each carrot is subjected to a 360° analysis.

The optical system generates sharp, high-resolution images of each carrot. These photos can be viewed immediately on the control screen to regulate the detection error.

The software allows a selection of 3 qualities (plus scrap). The quantity of high-quality product is increased and waste is reduced to a minimum. Thanks to the precision of the system and the consistency of its software, unique in the world,
obtains a much higher production for each process.

A nozzle blows the carrots towards the assigned outlets with extreme precision. The outlet is conditioned with soft materials that guarantee a smooth fall.

From 4 to 16 configurable outputs. The products of each output go to individual conveyors (belts or other systems) according to each type of project. The selection criteria can be easily adapted to the needs of each client.
